Bouyancy_SiltAre your feet feeling heavy and creating silt when you kick? Here are some tips to improve your trim:

  1. Consider lighter fins. The Hollis F-2 fins are more positively buoyant than the F-1 model.
  2. Move your wing lower. Shift the wing so it is as low as possible on your hips. Try different mounting holes on the wing. Try lengthening the shoulder straps and shortening the crotch strap to shift buoyancy lower.
  3. If you wear a dry suit, allow more air to drift towards your feet.
  4. If you wear a wet suit use thicker wetsuit booties.
  5. Use a thicker neoprene suit such as the Hollis Neotek Semi Dry.
